Prince Charming

As part of our Christmas production the children will be performing 'Prince Charming' by Adam and the Ants. If any parents have suitable clothing we could borrow lurking in the back of their wardrobes we would be very grateful. We promise to look after anything we borrow, and also not to reveal the identities of any former Antfans. Please see Mrs Dhadwal or Mr Fraser if you can help.

In fine voice

During our practice of the songs for the Christmas performance yesterday Mrs Dhadwal and Mr Fraser were extremely impressed by the number of children who already know the majority of the songs off by heart. Well done and keep up the good work.

Christmas is coming

Along with Year 4 we have now started work on our Christmas production and are busy learning the songs and dances. The production is called 'Who?', and tells the story of two time-travellers who come to Earth to find the true meaning of Christmas.

The best teachers

Anyone browsing the Year 5 blogs may have come across a blog with the same title as this one.
To avoid any confusion we would like to reassure you that the best teachers are in fact in Year 3, along with the best support assistants and pupils.

Back with a bang

After a week's hard earned and well-deserved rest, both staff and children returned to school on Monday 3rd November raring to go. This half term will see many exciting events culminating in a star-studded Christmas performance. Watch this space.

playscripts

This week in Literacy Year 3 have been working on playscripts.

Children read a script called Nail Soup, which was about an old beggar who helped a little lady make a delicious soup with a nail!
