This week we have learned about St. George the true story. We are going to show some lovely pictures and some stories.This is one of the stories written by Rajan:
George's dad was in the Roman army & when George's dad died George joined the army.
George was so good in the army that he went to Nicomedia to protect the emperor.
The emperor wasn't kind at all. He told George to kill all the christians. But George refused. So the emperor killed George.
Because George was so brave people wore the red cross to remember him.
King Edward the 3rd said we shall call George St. George. They made a church named after him. The Queen still uses it today.
